USING ASTROLOGY TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS

I’m an entrepreneur. Always have been. Always will be. I started my own businesses as a kid and at age 64, I’m still starting them. I’m also a builder. I build companies that fill a void and when they are up and running and standing on their own two feet or I get bored, I move on to the next dream and the next challenge. Not everyone is like me. But, very few people plan on owning a business for the rest of their lives. Most want to start a business, make it successful and then sell it for tremendous profits and retire or start another business. True entrepreneurs have a different mind set. They don’t want to show up and get a paycheck. They want to show up and create something special. They want to show up each day and be the best company in the world.
Owning or running the day to day operations of a business is a challenge. Lots of external forces make you change your plans and even start over on projects. The rules and rulebook of many industries and businesses have been thrown out and the new rules haven’t been set. You simply cannot do business like we used to. Retailers used to use deep discounts to bring customers in during poor holiday seasons. Now, not even that is enough to get them in. Auto dealers used to use low interest rates to get buyers. Now, the dealers and buyers can’t get any credit. Small business used to borrow money to keep their businesses growing. Now, they have no access to credit lines. In today’s volatile market place, having an edge will not only get you through the tough times and the many changes, but also help you succeed when everyone else is failing.
That “edge”, I truly believe is astrology. And, I am a user of the science of astrology for my business endeavors. What I have found over the years is that when I use astrology for the timing of certain events, etc. I am nearly 100% successful. When I don’t I get behind the eight ball.
Astrology is many things to many people but to me, it’s a wonderful timing device that allows me to know when the best times are to do specific things. It also tells me when NOT TO DO THINGS. And, it let’s me know when an event begins, the middle and the ending of that event. It can also tell you the best places for you to do business!!
In 2000, I started a women’s pro football league. My astrologer told me that I was “born” to do it and had the skills to do it. She also told me that it would be very successful, which it was. I used my astrologer in building the women’s football league when I opened new teams. She would tell me the best places to open them. One of the places she told me to open a team was in Pensacola, Florida. I wasn’t sure she was right since our football league played in the spring and summer and it was pretty hot in Florida at that time. But, I did and the Pensacola Power became the most well attended team in our league with more than 5,000 fans at every game!
I used my astrologer often for many things including a major negotiation with the NFL. She gave me the timing on when to send the letters, etc. I also used her in a legal battle with one of the teams that I kicked out of the league for breaching their contract.
But, I mostly used my astrologer for timing on press releases and the dates to start new league projects. When I used her to get the best dates, I was successful. When I thought I knew it all and didn’t, I mostly wasn’t.
Astrology can be used to set meeting dates so that they are the best meetings possible. It can be used to find out what the best dates are to sign agreements and contracts so that they are good and binding and work out well for your company. It can also, of course, be used to screen potential employees, vendors or partners. Here’s a list of other things astrology can help you with in your business:

When to expand
When to hire employees
When to set up your website
When to dot.com a name.
When to start a new project or product.
When to start a marketing campaign.
When to start an advertising campaign.

When to sell your business.
The key in using astrology for your business is to first, find a really good astrologer. You can go on the net or you can ask a friend for a recommendation. Then, once you have your astrologer, you can start using them just like you would use your accountant or attorney.
The fees you pay an astrologer will depend upon what you negotiate. Some will charge an hourly rate while others will work on a monthly retainer. Just put it in your budget as an expense.
Business people hire all kinds of people in an effort to make their business successful. Everyone hires an accountant, an attorney and as the business grows, hires marketing, sales and pr consultants and so on. In my more than 35 years in business I have found that an astrologer on the payroll is one of the best investments I can make in my business.
If you look at the headlines today you see a lot of major corporations failing. Or, asking for a bailout. I can tell you that having an astrologer give them timing would have helped all of those companies. I can also tell you that the top executives in the auto industry would have slept better at night if they had had an astrologer working with them.
They would have known how and when the bail out would happen.
What I love about the science of astrology is this: The planets are always moving and doing different things to your personal and business charts. Because of that, in every situation, there is a beginning, middle and an end. Nothing stays the same forever and astrology can help you with each stage with timing.
Not everyone wants to believe in astrology. That’s fine. But if you are a business owner or are the head of a business, don’t you want every single tool you can find to help you succeed? I, do and aside from the traditional business tools, I think astrology should rank right up there with them.
For you that are skeptical, my answer is this: Try it and see what happens. You only have success and knowledge to gain.

Astrology is a type of divination based upon the idea that information about the future or about a person’s personality can be discovered through the examination of heavenly bodies such as stars, planets, the moon, comets etc.
Astrology means the study that assumes and attempts to interpret the influence of heavenly bodies on human affairs. American Heritage Dictionary defines Astrology as the study of the positions and aspects of celestial bodies in the belief that they have an influence on the course of natural earthly occurrences and human affairs. The practice of astrology was prevalent in the ancient times too.
Some of the well-known civilizations of the world used this field extensively. For example, the ancient Chinese civilization, the Egyptian civilization, the ancient Indian civilization, etc all practiced astrology at some point or the other. Arabs too practiced Astrology before the advent of Islam.
The ancient Babylonians were probably the first to use Astrology. After that this science moved to countries like China and India. Greek astronomer Ptolemy was the first ever person to write a book on Astrology. He codified the sun sign astrology that we know today. Ptolemy tried to predict the positions of celestial bodies relative to each other and the earth through knowledge of their orbital motions.
During his time, astrology was a part of astronomy. Later, astronomy became an exact science and Astrology remained a part of Theology. Planetary observation is the basis of Astrology.
History of Astrology is an important part of civilization and goes back to the early days of the human race. Apart from being centers of learning in medicine, Baghdad and Damascus were also known as centers of astrology and astronomy. Arabs were pioneers in astronomy before the advent of Islam. The Babylonians were the first to name the days of the week after the Sun, Moon, and planets.
They were also the first to set out the twelve houses of the horoscope. Egypt was one of the most important places in the development of astrology. It is thought that some of the astrological signs of the zodiac originated in Egypt.
Astrology was practiced even in the Vedic times in India. Astrology is one of the six disciplines of vedanga. The Hindus believe that human fortune or misfortune in life is due to karma, and karma is believed to be influenced by the movements of the planets. Among the Hindus, Brahmins are considered to be the best authorities on astrology. In Modern India too, astrology is extensively used to determine the future and improve life. Astrology is studied and practiced by many in India.
It is regarded as vital in Indian culture. It is used to make decisions about marriage, starting of new business, and moving into a new house etc. Ancient Hindu Scriptures too gives a lot of importance to the various aspects of planetary motions and its effects on humans. Chinese astrology stresses on the five elements, metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. Even the zodiac signs used by them are also different from other forms of astrology. China was isolated from the western for a long time.
That is why Chinese astrology was unknown to the western world. As Chinese astrology developed independently, a lot of difference can be seen between the western concepts of astrology and the Chinese version.
But the Chinese and Indian astrologers were in touch every now and then. Therefore, these two schools have a few things in common. In spite of the geographical isolation, there are a few surprising similarities between the western and the Chinese thoughts on astrology.
It can only be termed as a coincidence. Even though the science of astrology was started and developed in the east, the west was never without its share of astrology. Recently, the trend of reading the daily horoscopes have caught up the western world. Suddenly, the western world has woken up to the possibility of knowing and improving their future with the use of astrology.
More and more westerners have started to believe in the possibility of getting affected by the powerful planets and stars. Western scholars have included the subject of astrology in their research. Astrology was never scrutinized and researched ever before the way it has been done over the last few years. The astrologers in India claim that it is a scientific method to predict the future.
They still club this field of study within the parameters of Hinduism. They say they can prove that astrological predictions are indeed scientific. Hindus almost unanimously believe in astrological predictions. In fact, religious Hindus cannot imagine life without Astrology.
More and more Indians have started to build their houses according to the principles of Vastu Shashtra. This ancient Indian tradition is also governed by astrological implications. Hindus believe that the overall prosperity and benefits of the occupants is dependant on the Vastu principles while building the house.
Feng shui is one of the ancient Chinese practice of placement and arrangement of space to achieve harmony with the environment. It is also an off shoot of Chinese Astrology. This again is said to be scientific in nature.

Shabbethai Donalo
Shabbethai Donalo Doctor and Astrologer (913-970) was borne in south Italy. At the age og 12 he was coptured (925) by an Arabic Batalion, his relatives had redeem him by paying for him a large amount of money.
At first he educated him self by the medicine discipline, since in those days a part of the diagnosis was done by astrology matters, he thought himself all that were known in this period in his soundings. How ever he decided to widen his knowledge by studying the Greek, Babylonian, and Indian Astrology.
In the city of Baghdad Donalo found a wise man in the name of Bagdsh who was a great scholar in mathematics and astrology, his (Donalo) conclusion about astrology was that the real basics of astrology are written by an Hebrew Talmudic Rabbi by the name of Rabbi D’Shemuel in an essay named Berayita D’rbbi Sehmuel.
Donalo settle dawn in the city named Modina in Italy serving as M.D for forty years, there Donalo wrote books on medicine, medication and astrology among other books he wrote a commentry on the astrology of the Book of Creation “Sefer H’Yetzirah” which by Hebrew tradition was written By Abraham the ancient Hebrew forefather

Abraham Ibn Ezra (1089-1164 C.E. Spain) Ibn Ezra was born in Tudela Sapin. He led Spain in 1140,for the next three decades he wandered through Europe, spending time in Rome, Lucca, Rouen, London, and Béziers, Israel.

Astrology was one of Ibn Ezra’s major interests, and it plays an important role in his thought ,the central place of astrology in Ibn Ezra’s thought promothed and strnghnd the legitimacy of astrology, in the jewish community, scholars and layman.
There is no difference between Jews and non-Jews with regard to astral governance, in his astrological writings, the Jews are no different from other peoples, in that they too are associated with certain planets and signs; this point was not lost upon his super-commentators. Ibn Ezra’s astrology, like his philosophy overall, is humanist and universal, not Jewish and particularist.
While we are going to assess Ibn Ezra writings, we should bear in mind that Ibn Ezra is not exposing to the reader all his knowledge, on the contrary, the reader is getting the impressing that Ibn Ezra is hiding his knowledge, and revealing bits hear and there, mostly regarding Astrological Astral Magic.
Maimonides
Moshe ben Maimon or Moses Maimonides- The Rambam (March 30, 1135 – December 13, 1204). Maimonides was a Rabbi, Physician, and Philosopher,

He ridicules the supposition that the fate of a man could be dependent upon the constellations; he argues that such a theory would rob life of purpose, and would make man a slave of destiny.

Iben Tzarza and his friends could not assimilate Mimonides opposition to astrology. Looking in to his work they came to the conclusion that so to speak, the Mimonides take a stand against Astrology,but this was only when he was referring to the crowd, to mass of people, however when the Mimonides was speaking to his peoples or to the Intellectual Jewish elite, his views were entirely different.

Trachtenberg is another scholar who is supporting this view namely Maimonides was not opposing astrology, his opinion is that Mimonides was accepting the Astrology discipline regarding the Medical use, (in those days every Medicine Doctor was skilled in the astrology discipline) which means Maimonides give his blessing to use astrology for Medical proposes.

Thus Maimonides concept towards Astrology was ambivalent and dual. Maimonides had one concept for the esotericism group of scholars, and another concept for the common layman, which means, only the intellectual elite should exercises Astrology, al the others should stay away from it, because thy wont understand the discipline and material, moreover there is a danger that the common layman will believe in determinism, which will led him a way from the Jewish belief, the Jewish belief is saying:” Everything is Foreseen, but the Permit is Given. This is an Anti-thesis to determinism.
Nahmanides
Nahmanides – Moshe ben Nahman Gerondi -Ramban (1194-1270) was a Biblical commentator, Kabbalist, Philosopher and Physician.
Nahmanides studied medicine which he practiced as a means of livelihood; he also studied philosophy In his writings Nahmanides reveals a conservative tendency that distinguished his later works — an unbounded respect for the earlier authorities.In the view of Nahmanides, the wisdom of the rabbis of the Mishnah and Talmud, as well as the Geonim (rabbis of the early medieval era) was unquestionable.
Nahmanides was an adversary of Rabbi Abraham Ib Ezra. Nahmanides disagrees with him; especially with regard to Kabballa (Jewish mysticism), which is considered part of the normative Jewish tradition. Notwithstanding, he had tremendous respect for ibn Ezra, as is evidenced in his introduction to his commentary on the Five books of Moses.
Nahmanides formed part of the Spanish school of Cabalists. He was intruded into the Gnostic type of mysticism that had hitherto reigned in Jewish mysticism. This Gnostic mysticism had originated in a rabbinic gnosis of the 1st and 2d centuries A.D.The Neoplatonic trend of Nahmanides’s mysticism centered on the sefirot, or “soul” or “inner life,” of the hidden transcendent God. On this basis Nahmanides formed his mystical theory of history
Nahmanides was a key figur in Kabblistic esoteric persona in Spanish 13th century.Regarding his astrological atettude Nahmanides wrote a stating that while one may not ask an astrologer for a prediction, astrology itself is real. He states rules that one must ultimately trust in God, and not in any lesser force. As such, he concludes that one is forbidden to ask an astrologer for a prediction, but one may act on the words of an astrologer if advice is freely given. Ultimately he holds that while the stars give a person certain inclinations, people have the ability to overcome their own inclinations, and thus maintains free will.
Thus it is adviseble to emphesiss that the persons who were infulensive of Nahmanides concepet were Ibn Ezra and Yhuda Halevy

Many people have an increased interest when it comes to astrology, horoscopes and signs related to these topics. This interest is not something that occurred all of the sudden but something that modified in time as humans were always fascinated about the influence that stars have on us. A long time ago people thought that the stars are able to fill us with wisdom and give us the guidance that we need throughout our lives. The mystery of the stars gave birth to this idea so people created the horoscope, a diagram which describes the positions of the planets and the astrological details.
Many of us are very superstitious when it comes to things such as horoscopes information or haunting ghosts. The truth is that we can’t know everything about what our lives mean and lots of unexplainable events can be influenced by the positions of the stars. At least, that is what the astrologers and a big number of people think. They consider that as the position of the planets change it influences the characters and lives of those who are born in certain periods of the year. The astrologers scientifically studied the changes that may have occurred because of the planets by following the lives of many people in correlation with planets’ positions at certain times.
The main thing that determines others not to believe in horoscopes’ power of prediction is that it is supposed to predict the future for millions of people. Different predictions are surely not for some people, they don’t match everybody. However, maybe the problem is that we expect for the horoscopes to predict too many detail while it can only tell general events that are going to happen. No matter how exact are horoscopes, it is a reality that a great number of people check their horoscope daily or weekly with the hope that they can find out good things that are supposed to happen for them in the future.
The opinions concerning horoscopes are either positive or negative, suggesting that these kinds of things are nothing more but imagination’s result. However, there are a lot of persons that read their horoscope and actually believe it is for real. Plus, there are professional astrologers that create general or private horoscopes for those who want. As a consequence, when you believe that horoscopes can really help you then you should better ask for professional advice than read the promising horoscopes that can be found in any magazine.
If you are very curious whether the horoscopes can help and how can bring positive changes to your life, then you could spend some time on the internet as many astrologers have websites that can satisfy your curiosity. Maybe being completely superstitious is not the best thing to do but you should also avoid reading any horoscope and believe its information is true. The best thing to do is to approach this phenomena with objectivity and you could find some answers to your questions related to horoscopes.

For example, some days you’ll have a higher tendency to get into conflicts, while there are other days when everything just effortlessly falls into place. This doesn’t mean you’re predestined to fight by dinnertime. It just reminds you to watch out and be more conscious—sort of like the weatherman predicting rain, and saying you might as well bring an umbrella.
You can also find compatibility charts. Let’s say you were born in the Year of the Dragon: can you get along with someone born in the year of the Rabbit? How the various tarot decks evolved from their original form to that of the common deck of playing cards is one of the best stories in history, but let us take a look at some of the most well known cards that make up the old-fashioned tarot deck.
Remember, however, that many different tarot decks contain different cards from one another.
Especially in the case of the minor arcana, the suits can change from deck to deck. There is not any consensus right deck, they all have their own powers to help a trained reader divine the future.
1) The Fool
One of the best known cards in the tarot deck, the fool can symbolize many different things based on the question asked before the reading.
In most cases, the fool brings about such descriptions as immaturity, adventure, boldness, freedom and inexperience.
In history, the Fool has the special distinction of usually having the number zero. While that designation is not a uniform assignment across all decks, the Fool is usually seen as either the final trump card, the first trump card or even a completely separate card apart from the other trumps.
Modern interpretations of the fool vary from the context in which the card fits into the question asked and the reader, but in most cases, the fool is interpreted as standing for folly and inexperience.
It does not necessarily have to have a negative connotation, but it is interpreted that way in most cases.
2) Death
One of the most dreaded cards in the tarot deck, but also one of the most misunderstood.
The card is only interpreted by the most literal readers as meaning physical death. In almost all cases, the card stands for a change; usually a deep and through change in your life.
For some, the death card can be a positive if the change interpreted is the death of something negative. The number assigned to the card is 13, of course, an unlucky number in most Western cultures.
In modern decks of playing cards, the ace of spades is considered to be the descendant of the death card, and is still referred to as such by many card players.
3) The Devil
Card fifteen is also one of the most well known tarot cards. The devil, in most cases, stands for animal lust and vice. It can also be interpreted as a lack of morality and hedonism over other more moderate choices in life.
Most readers believe that the Devil card represents a lack of growth or the inability to stop behavior that harms oneself. The card, in most cases, is considered negative, but there is also a large amount of flexibility in the Devil card.
The subject receiving the reading may be caught in a particular behavior, but that behavior can change and the impact of the devil can be removed.
4) The Moon
Card eighteen of the tarot deck is the Moon. The card is usually associated with the ideas of tension, deception, confusion and anxiety.
The Moon is also thought to be associated with doubt, worry, unrealistic ideas and illusion. Most readers interpret the Moon as a lack of vision or purpose in the life of a person.
A need to find the right path back to goals and meaning is needed before all is lost. It can also mean that an adventure awaits and to be brave when facing unknown circumstances. In most cases, the Moon has a negative connotation, but not in all.
5) The Lovers
Card six in the tarot deck is The Lovers. The card is usually interpreted to mean union, passion and sexuality, as well as bonding, romance and heart.
The card is seen almost universally as a positive, a sign that the subject has a positive, warm and healthy relationship in their life.
There is a modicum of sacrifice with the Lovers card, the idea that the bachelor life will need to be jettisoned in favor of a caring and fulfilling relationship. The card is considered a positive building block when it comes up during a reading, a sign of good things to come.
6) Wheel of Fortune
Card ten is the Wheel of Fortune. It is thought to stand for opportunities, possibilities and destiny, as well as fate, activity and life cycles.
There is a strong karmic connection with the Wheel of Fortune card. The idea of what comes around, goes around is widely believed to exist within the Wheel of Fortune.
The card also represents random chance, with the Wheel most likely standing for all the choices one makes and their positive and negative outcomes.
7) Judgment
Card twenty in the tarot deck is Judgment. This is an almost universally positive card that most readers interpret to stand for hope, renewal, redemption and absolution.
Even though with Judgment, there is a positive and negative side, this card is almost always thought to be a positive.

How ever he decided to widen his knowledge by studying the Greek, Babylonian, and Indian Astrology.
In the city of Baghdad Donalo found a wise man in the name of Bagdsh who was a great scholar in mathematics and astrology, his (Donalo) conclusion about astrology was that the real basics of astrology are written by an Hebrew Talmudic Rabbi by the name of Rabbi D’Shemuel in an essay named Berayita D’rbbi Sehmuel.
Donalo settle dawn in the city named Modina in Italy serving as M.D for forty years, there Donalo wrote books on medicine, medication and astrology among other books he wrote a commentry on the astrology of the Book of Creation “Sefer H’Yetzirah” which by Hebrew tradition was written By Abraham the ancient Hebrew forefather

Abraham Ibn Ezra (1089-1164 C.E. Spain) Ibn Ezra was born in Tudela Sapin. He led Spain in 1140,for the next three decades he wandered through Europe, spending time in Rome, Lucca, Rouen, London, and Béziers, Israel.

Astrology was one of Ibn Ezra’s major interests, and it plays an important role in his thought ,the central place of astrology in Ibn Ezra’s thought promothed and strnghnd the legitimacy of astrology, in the jewish community, scholars and layman.
There is no difference between Jews and non-Jews with regard to astral governance, in his astrological writings, the Jews are no different from other peoples, in that they too are associated with certain planets and signs; this point was not lost upon his super-commentators. Ibn Ezra’s astrology, like his philosophy overall, is humanist and universal, not Jewish and particularist.

Maimonides
Moshe ben Maimon or Moses Maimonides- The Rambam (March 30, 1135 – December 13, 1204). Maimonides was a Rabbi, Physician, and Philosopher,

He affirms that he had studied astrology, and that it does not deserve to be described as a science. He ridicules the supposition that the fate of a man could be dependent upon the constellations; he argues that such a theory would rob life of purpose, and would make man a slave of destiny.

Looking in to his work they came to the conclusion that so to speak, the Mimonides take a stand against Astrology,but this was only when he was referring to the crowd, to mass of people, however when the Mimonides was speaking to his peoples or to the Intellectual Jewish elite, his views were entirely different.

Trachtenberg is another scholar who is supporting this view namely Maimonides was not opposing astrology, his opinion is that Mimonides was accepting the Astrology discipline regarding the Medical use, (in those days every Medicine Doctor was skilled in the astrology discipline) which means Maimonides give his blessing to use astrology for Medical proposes.

Thus Maimonides concept towards Astrology was ambivalent and dual. Maimonides had one concept for the esotericism group of scholars, and another concept for the common layman, which means, only the intellectual elite should exercises Astrology, al the others should stay away from it, because thy wont understand the discipline and material, moreover there is a danger that the common layman will believe in determinism, which will led him a way from the Jewish belief, the Jewish belief is saying:” Everything is Foreseen, but the Permit is Given. This is an Anti-thesis to determinism.
Nahmanides
Nahmanides – Moshe ben Nahman Gerondi -Ramban (1194-1270) was a Biblical commentator, Kabbalist, Philosopher and Physician.
Nahmanides studied medicine which he practiced as a means of livelihood; he also studied philosophy In his writings Nahmanides reveals a conservative tendency that distinguished his later works — an unbounded respect for the earlier authorities.In the view of Nahmanides, the wisdom of the rabbis of the Mishnah and Talmud, as well as the Geonim (rabbis of the early medieval era) was unquestionable.
Nahmanides was an adversary of Rabbi Abraham Ib Ezra. Nahmanides disagrees with him; especially with regard to Kabballa (Jewish mysticism), which is considered part of the normative Jewish tradition. Notwithstanding, he had tremendous respect for ibn Ezra, as is evidenced in his introduction to his commentary on the Five books of Moses.
Nahmanides formed part of the Spanish school of Cabalists. He was intruded into the Gnostic type of mysticism that had hitherto reigned in Jewish mysticism. This Gnostic mysticism had originated in a rabbinic gnosis of the 1st and 2d centuries A.D.The Neoplatonic trend of Nahmanides’s mysticism centered on the sefirot, or “soul” or “inner life,” of the hidden transcendent God. On this basis Nahmanides formed his mystical theory of history
Nahmanides was a key figur in Kabblistic esoteric persona in Spanish 13th century.Regarding his astrological atettude Nahmanides wrote a stating that while one may not ask an astrologer for a prediction, astrology itself is real.
